it's true. we are accepting songs for airplay right here on crowchow, 'the best nest on the web'. why? simple. we need to make sure we keep on top of all of the new music happening here in portland. our livers can only take so much clubbing, so we're relying on the desperate nature of bands to keep us supplied with tunes. so if you are either from and/or performing regularly in Portland and want some free noise for your self-published songs, we are your game.
ok, if you think your song is good enough to be played on crowchow, here is you're chance to be proven right. The process is simple:
1. upload your song (below). mp3 format only, the higher quality the better. disk space is cheap - you should be ripping your files at 192Kb, but we will accept 128Kb and up. feel free to send as many files as you like. make it easy on us - rename your files with a format of: band-songname.mp3 otherwise we might not know who sent what.
2. the disc monkeys here at crowchow will give it a listen and determine its airworthniess. it's a good bet you can get your song into roatation .... if only briefly ... simply because we have a lot of air time to fill and our standards aren't paticularly high. feel free to send any band bio or pictures to
